Minimizing the threat of infection in healthcare facilities from construction-induced air pollution

Indeed the risks of indoor air quality to building occupants has become a challenging and complex issue for healthcare facility owners and facility managers, especially related to construction and renovation related projects. Many healthcare facilities are currently following the ICRA method applied to construction or renovation projects in their facilities in order to manage the patient risk.

Join us for a 90 minutes audio conference as we discuss the means and methods to manage the risk to the level determined from the ICRA evaluation for construction and renovation projects. Including: risk assessment, containment measures, design and implementation of air barriers during healthcare construction or renovation.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be able to perform the following:

  • Discuss the infection threats associated with air pollution caused by construction and/or renovation
  • Identify how to conduct a risk assessment
