Liz D. Brown, P.E. Liz D. Brown is a registered professional mechanical engineer and principal of Henneman Raufeisen & Associates, Inc. (HRA). For more than ten years, Liz has focused on providing high quality design and service for the healthcare industry. Liz has spoken at several conferences where she has presented HRA's design methodology for accommodating surge capacity for airborne infectious isolation. HRA has designed this system for several hospitals in Wisconsin, along with many other innovative, cost effective designs. Tracy Buchman, MS, CHSP Tracy Buchman has been the Director of Safety at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics for 11 years, currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Health Administration and holds a Masters degree in Occupational/Industrial Safety. She is a certified hazard control manager (CHCM), certified healthcare safety professional (CHSP), and certified healthcare protection administrator (CHPA). Tracy was a member of the State of WI Health Research and Services Administration (HRSA) grant-writing teams and also currently serves on the WI Joint CDC/HRSA Bioterrorism Preparedness State Advisory Committee, Dane Co. Terrorism Taskforce and the Madison area Interhospital Communications and Disaster Planning Committee. Tracy specializes in healthcare safety related codes, accreditations, emergency preparedness, and construction. Dave Shagott Dave Shagott has been involved in various capacities in the health and safety industry for 30 years. He is one of the founders of Abatement Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialized air purification products, including systems used for patient isolation used today in more than 3,000 North American hospitals. Mr. Shagott has served as the company's president since it's inception in 1985. He is closely involved with product design and development, and holds or co-holds five U.S. Patents for high-efficiency, commercial air filtration products.
