Zia Siddiqi, Ph.D., B.C.E.

Dr. Zia Siddiqi's career spans nearly 30 years and several continents, and he has designed IPM programs in numerous countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology and is a board-certified entomologist, and as Quality Assurance Director for Orkin, his job is to evaluate IPM programs and make recommendations on how to improve them. Prior to joining Orkin, Dr. Siddiqi was North American Technical Director for PRISM Pest Elimination in the United States and PCO Services in Canada (both S.C. Johnson Professional companies). In addition to managing technical, training and quality assurance functions, he obtained ISO 9000 certification - an industry first - for each company's top-tier commercial pest management programs. He has since led the way in obtaining ISO-9000 certification all of Orkin's Commercial branches and in developing Orkin's Gold Medal Protection programs for highly sensitive food-processing and health care facilities.
Frank Meek, B.C.E.

A board-certified entomologist and industry veteran, Frank Meek has been with Orkin since 1986. As Technical Director, he oversees research, development and implementation of Orkin's many service offerings, and was a leader in the development of Orkin's Gold Medal Protection program for health care facilities. In 2003, Meek was named among the future leaders of the pest management industry in Pest Control Technology magazine's "40 Under 40" ranking. He has experience in all areas of pest control, enabling him to provide a cross-industry overview of the role that IPM can play in improved safety and sanitation, and understands the factors that can create a favorable environment for a wide variety of pests.
Thomas A. Green, Ph.D.

The IPM Institute of North America, Inc.
Dr. Thomas Green is president of the IPM Institute of North America, an independent, non-profit organization formed in 1998 to foster recognition and rewards in the marketplace for goods and service providers who practice IPM. The Institute's mission is to accelerate adoption of IPM in agriculture and communities through consumer education and development of IPM standards for self-evaluation and IPM certification. In addition to his work with the IPM Institute, Dr. Green is president of IPM Works, LLC, of Madison, Wisc., which provides consulting services to businesses and non-profit organizations on broadening adoption of IPM and other conservation-enhancing practices. Dr. Green holds a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Massachusetts. He currently serves on the board of directors of the National Foundation for IPM Education and co-chairs the steering committee for the Fifth National IPM Symposium and Workshop to be held in April 2006.
