Live Interactive AudioConferences

FacilityCare Magazine has recently launched a series of live interactive audioconference programs. This type of educational tool provides a fast and convenient vehicle for the audience to interact with a panel of experts on a very focused topic.

What is an AudioConference?

An audioconference is similar to a large conference call. A person dials a specified phone number to connect with a group of other participants to discuss an issue. With the FacilityCare Magazine AudioConference, one person (a site) registers for an audioconference, he or she are given a phone number, dial-in instructions and a site code. A site can either be an individual using a handheld phone or a room full of people using a speakerphone. Participants are able to listen-in on the program and participate in the question and answer and polling sessions. Except during the interactive sessions (Q&A and Polling), participants, except the moderator and speakers, are in listen-only mode. A site code, a unique letter/number combination, is assigned by FacilityCare Magazine and is used when a site calls in for the audioconference. The site code ensures anonymity - a site is referred to by the letter/number assigned, not by an individual's or organization's name.

What are the benefits?

Audioconferences provide an attractive vehicle for Healthcare Professionals to access up-to-date information on focused topics in a timely, cost effective way (low registration fee per site and no travel expenses) and provides an opportunity for attendees to listen to the program at his or her desk or in small groups.
