A new guide that lists all known facility management programs in North America has been released by the IFMA Foundation. The first “North American Facility Management Degree Program Guide” is designed to help educational institutions develop standards for facility management curricula and details of the course of study. It also serves as a reference for students, educators and professionals interested in facility management higher education degree programs.
Publication of the “North American Facility Management Degree Program Guide” comes at a time when facility managers have been named number 11 out of 20 careers projected to have high salary growth in 2010, according to a recent CareerBuilder.com article citing statistics from CBSalary.com, SalaryExpert.com and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
